Is a vegan diet enough?

Yes, and we could leave it at that, but we refer unbelievers, doubters and inquirers to research. We are convinced of this, because we have tested it on our own bodies. Veganism is starting to become more and more fashionable, including among athletes. And this means that you can have plenty of strength and energy with intense exercise. And if so – this is very good news for our animal friends. Because, after all, a pork chop does not grow on a tree, it requires killing a pig. Many people do not want to remember this, because it is inconvenient. And no one, eating a sausage by the fire, wants to remember how meat is made.

A vegan diet may be enough, but it must, like any diet, be properly balanced.

Drink milk, you’ll be great!

This slogan is still relevant. Provided that we mean plant-based milk. Of course, one can argue whether plant-based can be called milk, but in the end – what’s it called. We’re not about that. We about the fact that coffee can be whipped up with almond, oat, coconut, hazelnut, soy, rice or pea drink. Each tastes different and gives the coffee a different flavor – it’s worth trying. And why give up cow’s milk (leaving aside the obvious ethical aspect)?

  • many people have lactose intolerance, which leads to bloating, diarrhea and abdominal pain,
  • many children have protein diathesis, which means they are allergic to milk proteins,
  • there are studies that show a link between milk consumption and the occurrence of chronic diseases,
  • antibiotics and hormones get into milk during production. All the necessary ingredients

Be sure to provide your body with the right ingredients and elements. To ensure an adequate supply of iron, eat plenty of leafy greens (spinach, kale, lettuce, cabbage), legumes (broad beans, beans), seeds, dried fruits (be careful with these if you have sugar problems).

To get protein into your body eat legumes (beans, lentils, broad beans, peas, chickpeas), nuts and seeds and whole grain products.

Vitamin B12 is only found in animal products, so it’s worthwhile for vegans to supplement it.

Regular checkups

Your dietary concerns will be allayed by regular diagnostics. Get tested to make sure you are eating properly and not forgetting to supply any of the important nutrients.

What is your experience with a vegan diet? Are you just starting out, thinking about it, or have you been eating vegan for many years? Let us know in the comments or write to us – perhaps your story will inspire others.
